Election Results

Following the May 2011 local elections, Sheffield remains without a Conservative councillor. However, in Dore and Totley, we were only 800 votes away from victory. The council is now controlled by Labour. The Sheffield Conservative Association is working hard to regain Council representation in 2012.

There are 5 parliamentary constituencies in sheffield and within these five constituencies are 28 wards, which make up Sheffield City Council. Each ward elects three councillors – the maximum term of office being fours years. Sheffield is also part of the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Constituency, which elects six Members of the European Parliament. Our current representative to the European Parliament is: Timothy Kirkhope MEP
