Drinks Reception With Timothy Kirkhope MEP.

A drinks reception was held at the home of Dr Spencer Pitfield. This was a wonderful evening where around 50 guests enjoyed a speech given by Timothy Kirkhope MEP. A rousing speech was also given by Anne Smith MBE. Anne is fighting for election in Dore and Totley in the 2012 local elections and spoke of the fantastic resurgence of the Conservative Party in Sheffield as a result of the fresh approach and the determination of all candidates to support each other in running vigorous and effective campaigns. Vonny Watts, standing in Fulwood and Christina Stark, standing in Ecclesall were also in attendance. The atmosphere was full of anticipation and excitement about the possibilities these candidates are bringing to the Association.
