Lewis Chinchen established and is now the Chairman of Sheffield Young Conservatives. The group looks to encourage Conservatives in Sheffield aged 25 and under to campaign, socialise and debate policy.
Lewis is currently a legal apprentice at a law firm in Sheffield. As someone who commutes daily into the city centre, Lewis is keen to improve connectivity within Sheffield by increasing rail capacity, creating more cycle lanes and ensuring buses are both more frequent and more reliable.
Lewis said “It has been a very exciting experience starting Sheffield Young Conservatives and the early signs are that there is substantial interest from young people wanting to get involved which is fantastic. There has never been a better time to get involved with Conservative Party politics in Sheffield with the political landscape in South Yorkshire changing rapidly and the country going through an important stage in our history”.
