The Queen's seventy years of outstanding service to her country and the Commonwealth was celebrated across the nation with street parties, concerts, exhibitions and countless other events, including of course the spectacular weekend in June with Trooping the Colour and Party at the Palace; and who can forget watching the Queen enjoy tea and marmalade sandwiches with Paddington Bear! The Sheffield Conservative Federation celebrated the milestone event with an excellent Platinum Jubilee Ball held at Kenwood Hall Hotel, which proved to be very popular and a joyous occasion.
