This is the first event of a new initiative seeking views and policy solutions from a range of Members and Non-Members. It is a focused discussion leading to short policy proposals that, if selected, will be developed into research papers for broader CPF exposure.
This event is open to Party Members in Sheffield. Should you wish to attend, please e-mail office@sheffieldconservatives.org for details and the Zoom link.
The Sheffield Conservative Federation AGM will take place on-line on Wednesday 20 January 2021 between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. The recently elected Chair of South Yorkshire Conservatives, Sara Chinchen, will be addressing the meeting following standard business items.
I work as a legal apprentice for a law firm in Sheffield City Centre and Chair Sheffield Young Conservatives, which I set up. I have volunteered at my local library and charity shop and am an FA Qualified Football Coach. I have been a member of the Conservatives since I was 16. As someone who lives, works and commutes regularly within Sheffield, I have seen both the challenges which our city faces and the opportunities. I was elected as a Councillor for Stocksbridge and Upper Don on 7 May 2021 and will deliver for local people - helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, improving connectivity and investing in our High Streets. With my election Sheffield now has an alternative voice willing to properly scrutinise decisions made by the Council.
